Actress Sues Amazon for Revealing Her Age on IMDb

An actress is suing Amazon.com in federal court in Seattle for more than $1 million for revealing her age on its Internet Movie Database website and refusing to remove the reference when asked.

The actress is not named in the lawsuit filed Thursday that refers to her as Jane Doe. It says she lives in Texas and is of Asian descent and has an Americanized stage name.

    It is foolish of this person to think and insist that the only way that Amazon got her age was by violating her credit card information. I can guarantee you that there are numerous other places that IMBd could have gone on the web to find that information. And I am sure that Amazon’s lawyers will make that clear when they respond to the allegation. I’m surprised the reporter of this story did not address this.
